Reflection of last quarte and new goals essay
My summer quarter was an okay quarter. I didn’t fail any classes but I could have got much better grades. I hope to improve by finishing physics and putting more effort into my assignments. I also plan not to talk as much to my classmates when its time to work. Hopefully by accomplishing this I will be able to graduate and accomplish other goals in life.
My goals for the next winter quarter is finish my Physics and another book too. I also want to get all A’s so I can make my mom happy. I hope to get all A’s by finishing all my work no matter what even if I have to take work home. I also hope to get all A’s by not coming as late even if that means waking up earlier and coming on the trolley.
Right now I’m kind of not liking this type of school because I am so used to writing by hand than by typing. I’m also the type of person that needs to have a list in order so I can be motivated. So it would be very helpful for me if you could print out a weekly list of the assignments that I have to do by having this list I think that I’m gonna be able to get more accomplished.

I motioned for the furniture to be moved to a different part of my house.

I boasted about my accomplishments at school.

I vehemently carried out my vengeance.
chapter 11
1. The boys mourn saidu by crying.
2. Gasemu is someone from ishmaels village. He was a single person that everyone always said that he should’ve gotten married.
3. Gasemu informed him that his family was waiting for him and praying everyday that he is well.
4. When he thought of seeing his family again he felt happy and sad at the same time he wanted to drop everything and run.
5. As he was going down the hill he heard gunshots and dogs barking and he also saw smoke.
6. After the gunshots everything was very quiet as if the world was listening.
7. Gasemu started screaming because he found more than 20 people dead.
8. The house his family stayed at was completely burned.
9. He had a feeling of guilt because if he wouldn’t have rested on the hill he would’ve seen his family.
10. The rebels they saw were happy and giving each other high fives.
11. The rebels were boasting about burning three villages down.
12. No I cant relate to these events because my house has never been burned down.
13. In the end Gasemu died and told the boys to go to a nearby village where cofee and crops were processed.
14. I think that when he saw a familiar face ishmael was happy but he was sad because he wasn’t able to see his family.
15. I think they felt very happy but when they saw what happened to the village they were devastated.
16. Yes I have been very close to getting something and I’ve also seen it slip away.
17. Yes, I believe that ishmaels family made it out of the village.

chapter 10 part 2
1. The unsettling thing about his journey is that he didn’t know when or where it was going to end.
2. The boys are always on the move because they want to get away from the rebels and also because they are looking for their family.
3. Ishmael's mood in the beginning of the story is depressed and worried.
4. He compares his journey to the moon.
5. When he says that everytime he accepts death he feels like part of him dies he means that he is getting more used to the fact that his time to die is coming.
6. Spiders in his culture symbolize death.
7. One of my fondest memories with my family is when we go on vacation.

9. Musa’s mom was left behind and his dad went to go look for her but the village where he was at was under attack so he had to leave.

I think that Kanei’s story about how the rebels attacked him and his family is the worst one because he witnessed people drowning and got shot at in a boat.
Yes, I think that the footsteps that they heard were ghosts and they had come for saidu.

I think that what made saidu sick and killed him was the bird that they ate.
Yes I too have experienced the feelings that he describes in at the burial I’ve felt this way whenever a a family member dies..
